Staff at the Press is now back in the office after AAR/SBL Annual Meeting in San Diego. The exhibit was a great success for us, as we not only sold many of our books but had the opportunity to see many of our authors and meet many of our readers. Those who stopped by our booth were interested in a range of our books, with particular interest in new fall 2007 books, such as Divine Action by Keith Ward, The Altruistic Species by Andrew Michael Flesher and Daniel L. Worthen, The Altruism Reader compiled and edited by Thomas Jay Oord, Jesus and Psychology edited by Fraser Watts, and The Historicity of Nature by Wolfhart Pannenberg, compiled and edited by Niels Henrik Gregersen.
There seemed to be great concern about the split of the AAR and SBL annual meetings, and the Press will attend both meetings next year to determine our future attendance at each meeting.
