Staff at Templeton Foundation Press will be selling our publications in spirituality and health at this weekend’s conference, Spirituality & Healing in Medicine: Including the Concept of Emergence, in Boston. Herbert Benson, M.D., director emeritus, Benson-Henry Institute, Mind Body Medical Institute, and Christina Puchalski, M.D., director of the George Washington University Institute of Spirituality and Health, co-direct this conference.
It is great to have two new books in this field, Spirituality in Patient Care: Why, How, When, and What, Second Edition, by Harold G. Koenig, M.D., and What Do I Say? Talking with Patients about Spirituality by Elizabeth Johnston Taylor available at this event.

I suspect that the spirituality/religion distinction has been overdrawn, particularly in the modern context where the two blur. I have just posted on it. In case you are interested, here is the link. http://deligentia.wordpress.com/2009/10/30/spirituality-and-religion-a-false-dichotomy/
